New Graduate Programs Available at The University of Toledo

In an effort to provide students with the most relevant education in today’s global environment and job market, the College of Graduate Studies is delighted to announce two exciting new graduate opportunities at The University of Toledo.

In spring 2013, the College of Languages, Literature and Social Sciences will begin offering a new Graduate Certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies. The 15 credit hour program is an interdisciplinary program of study which examines the significance and consequences of gender as a cultural category that shapes the experiences and knowledge of individuals and communities.
This graduate certificate can be applied toward a master of liberal studies degree.

In fall 2013, the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will begin offering a Ph.D.in Experimental Therapeutics degree. Students will integrate basic and applied sciences focused on the study and development of new drug treatments for human disease. These doctorally prepared students will be able to bridge the gap from “bench to bedside” bringing new therapies to patients in clinical settings.

These two new programs join several other recent new graduate certificate and degree programs on an already expansive list of programs and opportunities for graduate education at UT.  There certainly is a graduate program for everyone!

Go Rockets!
