It’s August and once again time
to begin a new academic year here at The University of Toledo. The College of Graduate Studies (COGS)
is excited to welcome hundreds of new graduate students to campus for fall
term. The number of applications to UT’s graduate programs increased again this
year and COGS is happy to welcome so many new Rockets to campus!
Before classes begin on August 19th,
COGS will formally welcome over 600 of our new graduate students at the New Graduate
Student Orientation on the Main Campus and Health Science Campus and about 200
other students will participate in orientation online. New Teaching Assistants
will also benefit from our TA Training Program. Below are a few important
events and dates coming up in the next two weeks:
- Graduate Orientation
- Main Campus- Tuesday, August 13th, 8:15am-1:00pm
- Health Science Campus- Wednesday, August 14th, 8:00am-11:30am
- Teaching Assistant Training Program
- Thursday, August 15th, 8:30am-12:00pm, Wolfe Hall 1201
- Last day to register without late fees
- Sunday, August 18th
- Fall 2013 Classes Begin
- Monday, August 19th
